Privacy Policy
The short version
- Your answers are private to your business and the StratSkill team.
- We use them to run your sessions and to prepare your report.
- We may also learn from anonymized, combined patterns across businesses. No business or person can be identified in them.
- We never sell your information. We never use it for advertising. We never use it to train AI models.
- You can ask for a copy, a correction or deletion at any time by emailing info@stratskill.com.
01Who we are
StratSkill is operated by StratSkill LLC, a Texas limited liability company. In this policy, "StratSkill," "we," "us" and "our" mean StratSkill LLC. "You" means the business owner using the service.
This policy explains what information we collect when you use StratSkill, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email info@stratskill.com.
02Who the service is for
StratSkill is available by personal invitation. It is for business owners: adults who are acting on behalf of their business. StratSkill is a US-based service.
03Information we collect
- Your details. Your name, email address, business name and industry. We may enter these when we invite you, or you may give them to us.
- Your answers. What you tell us in your sessions, whether you type or talk. Spoken answers are converted to text. We do not keep the audio itself.
- What we prepare from your answers. The summaries, findings and report we prepare for your business.
- Account and security records. Sign-in times, IP address and browser type.
- Email records. A record of the emails we send you.
We do not collect payment information.
04What we ask you not to share
We do not need highly sensitive details to prepare your report. Please do not share:
- passwords;
- bank account numbers;
- Social Security numbers;
- health information; or
- other people's sensitive personal details.
05How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- run your sessions;
- prepare, review and deliver your business's report;
- send you service emails, such as your invitation, reminders, password resets and a note when your report is ready;
- keep the service secure and working; and
- produce anonymized, aggregated insights across businesses, in which no business or individual can be identified.
We never sell your information. We never use it to train AI models. We do not use it for advertising.
06How AI is used
Your sessions are run by an AI interviewer. Your report is drafted with AI and reviewed by the StratSkill team before it is released to you.
The AI models we use are open models run on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Your answers are not sent to other AI companies.
07Who can see your answers
- You. You can see your own answers.
- The StratSkill team. Authorized members of our team can see your answers so they can review them and prepare your report.
08Service providers and other disclosures
Our service provider. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts our application, database, AI model processing and email delivery. Cloudflare processes data on our behalf.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if the law requires us to.
Business changes. If StratSkill is involved in a merger or a sale of the business, your information may be passed to the successor, under the same commitments made in this policy.
09How long we keep information
We keep your answers and reports for up to 24 months after your last activity. After that, we delete or anonymize them.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@stratskill.com. We will complete your request within 30 days.
Anonymized, aggregated insights that we have already produced are not affected by deletion, because they no longer identify anyone.
10Your choices
- Copy, correction or deletion. Email info@stratskill.com to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
- Reminder emails. To stop reminder emails, reply to one or email us.
11Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Access to your information is limited to the StratSkill team.
No method of protecting information is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
12Children
StratSkill is for adult business owners. It is not directed at children.
13Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date and notify you by email.
